How to install the app on your device
This app is built for the web-based tool, so you can use it on any device—computer, tablet, or smartphone. You can also install it to make it easier to access, just like a regular app on your phone or computer.
Once installed, you can open it directly from your home screen (on mobile) or your desktop (on a computer).
Follow the steps below to install the app based on your device.
Add to home screen
- Open the app in your browser (Chrome)
- Tap the three dots in the top-right corner
- Select Add to Home Screen
- The app will now appear on your home screen like a regular app
Delete from home screen
- Long press the app icon on your home screen
- Select Uninstall or Remove
Add to home screen
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Safari
- Tap the share icon
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
- The app will now appear on your home screen like a regular app.
Delete from home screen
- Press and hold the app icon on your home screen
- Tap the Remove option
Add to your desktop
- Open the app in your browser (Chrome or Edge)
- Look for the install icon in the address bar or tap the menu
- Select Install App
- The app will appear in your desktop applications or start menu
Delete the app
- Right-click the app icon in your applications or start menu
- Select Uninstall or Remove from computer

This app uses data from U.S. Geological Survey and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, downloaded every 10 minutes (source data update timing varies). Developed by King County and funded by the King County Flood Control District.
